"Why is it important that we study ancient Egypt and other ancient civilizations?"

It is important to study the ancient civilizations so we learn about the different types of people and how they lived. It is also good so we can learn how to do things on our own.

We also learned about the kings (Pharoahs) and their wives. We learned the theories of why King Tut died.

It is important to study our history of ansestors to know how the human evolved in beliefs and technology. If we relate to artifacts of ancient civilizaions to technology today, we could see how the different tools evolved over time.We also could see when the idea started to work in reality among the people, and how many years it took to perfect.

it is importain to study history because you get facts. like if we didn't study history how would we know the indains or the dinos or something like that. if we didn't study eygypt we would not know who king tut is or the great pyrimids or what there writing was like. facts about egypt are importan for the history of life. we study eygpt because of it's pharohs the people who built the great pyrimid and the use of the nile.

It helps us better understand what past life was like. Also to teach obout how hard the acient egyptions worked and how long it took to bild the pyrmids. Also to know how to see how the pharoes lived.

I think its importent to study other culters so we learn how they lived compared to how we live in our daily lives. when we learn how other culters lived,ate,learned ect. we can make our own theorys of the thing that archeologists didn't figure out yet. Also we can learn how much we have improved from how much technology they had and how much we have now. Thats why I think its important that we study other culters.

It's important to study ancient civilizations because we can learn the ways people did things back in ancient history, its also important because we can learn how to make things the way the egyptians or the romans did. Last week we learned how to make paper by using glue and strips of paper, we also got to put our names on our paper by using hyroglyphics. Thats why its important to study ancient civilizations, because if you want to make paper all you have to do is read a little about the egyptians.

we studied the pyramids to know about are ancestors and to know about the way the egyptions lived and there customes. we need to know how there techknoledge works so we can comepare theres to ares.

it is important because that way if you want to be a preson who discovers artifacts you will know what culture it is from. And so you can read the egyiption cursive. Also the symbols. It is also important that you know how life was like in that time.

i thind it was cool to watch that video and learn about king tutuncomon (Pharoah) to watch the video on the archeaoligists breaking the seal finding out what was behind the door, and that if we just heard about the people of egypt we would not quite understand them at all and be really confused. thand you for teaching us about this

Because we were studying facts about Egypt in our Social Studies book. So we watched a video about Egypt and their Pyramid.An we learned more facts about Egypt. And I learned about their nature in Egypt and we learned about what they eat, where they sleep, and I also learned how they built the Pyramids.

I think it is important to learn about other acient civilizations so we can know about their history and their lifestyle. I think it is also important becasue it would be interesting to learn how the lived in the past from how we live now. It makes us think of how they communicated and worked with eachother. When we are learning about them we can think about if it was harder how they lived than what we live like now. It can help us imagine what their houses looked like and what it was like to live way back then.

So we know what the achiant egyptians did back then when they were alive. That's why we need to study anchiant egypt.

It is important to learn about ancient civilizations so if we grow up to be archaeologists we know about all of these civilizations. If you want to know how to decode hieroglyphics or Meroetic, you are learning that you need to use the Rosetta Stone. We need to study all of this to make predictions on how they lived and get our brains moving.

Because they did farming like we did. They also made cultures like we do. Its also important if we look at their facts to know what they did in the past tense. The Egypts made a lot of pyramids and they did a lot to make the pyramids.

It is important to learn about how people lived, and how our life style is very different. Our life style is different because today we have technology so people aren't enslaved and or treated differently. Their culture is different because now you need to be hired to have a job but you need to be a certain age. How they had it was as soon as you are about old enough to walk or talk (about six years of age) you were forced to work.

I think it is important to study ancient Egypt because we can learn about how they got resources and how they lived. It is also important to learn who ruled as king/queen what was their name how they lived or survived and many other important things.We need to know these things because we need to learn how ancient people/rulers used to live and how they got food and many different things. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT WE LEARN ABOUT ANCIENT EGYPT.

i think that the ancient egyptiains will work together for the people who died and work on the tombs. when they die they have to put some oils on the body and put some paper around the phaorogh. its a mummy that is put in its tomb.

i think that we need to study the EGYPTIANS because we would not know how they lived or where they slept or what they do with there dead kings (Pharoahs) and queens and what they did with there enemies. we would not understand them at all.Also we need study them if we didn't we would not understand there Hyroglyfics :] :3 : ) :( :D :) :B !!!!

These also give us ideas on what we can be when we grow up ( archaeologist, scientist, etc.). It helps us explore the world around us and make something out of nothing. This also helps us get into better colleges, universities, and schools. If you don't a lot of social studies and history, you have less chance of getting into a good one of them.

We were learning about ancient Egypt because, the Egyptians had an impact on the world. The Egyptians built the pyramids. We learned about the people that they buried in the pyramids. The mummification took 70 days, they took out all organs but the heart. After a pharaoh died they still treated him as if he was alive. Because of what the Egyptians did the world would not be what it is now. I enjoyed learning about ancient Egypt.

We study ancient Egypt so that we learn about people way back then. The ancient Egyptians were a big part in the early time. We studied about them in our Social Studies book. Then we watched a video about their lives, and what they did. We learned about how they built pyramids. Also about their kings, and how they were buried, inside the pyramids. When they were buried they also had their important possessions with them. We learned about the mummification that happened, and that it took 70 days for it to be done. They didn’t take out the heart, but they took out all the organs. Learning about the Egyptians and how they lived was very interesting.
