Wereworld Rise of the Wolf

The book report I’m doing is about a book named Wereworld. This book is written by Curtis Jobling. The book is about a 13 year old werewolf who is the rightful ruler of Lyssia and The Seven Realms. The book is about a country were Werelords live and rule.
The setting is Lyssia, an imaginary country. Lyssia is separated into seven different realms. The time period is in the past. The beginning of the story starts on the Cold Coast, but Drew moves all the way across the country to Highcliff.
The main character is a werewolf named Drew. Some other characters are a werelion named Leopold, a wereboar named Hector, a werebear named Bergan, a werefox named Gretchen, and a wereshark named Count Vega.
In the plot, Drew tries to defeat King Leopold. Leopold killed Drew’s father, the king of Lyssia. Drew finds out and wants to take the throne from Leopold. He has allies but not enough to defeat the Lionguard, the king’s army.
In the end, Leopold and Drew fight and drew wounds Leopold. The king retreats and Drew follows him. He gets trapped on a wall and the Wererat that killed Drew’s mother tries to kill him but is defeated. Drew jumps into the ocean and loses his father’s sword but Count Vega gets it. The King’s wife turns out to be Drew’s mother and goes with them on Count Veg ship into the White Sea. They Sail by the coast and everyone in Highcliff is chanting Drew’s name.
The story is a fictional novel. It does not have a moral or lesson. The authors purpose was to give teenagers a good book to read.

Skinny
Skinny is a courageous book written by Donna Cooper.
Ever Davies wants to be skinny. She weighs over 300 pounds so she decides to take a risky decision, have the surgery done and possibly die or don't have the surgery and live. Ever has this voice in her head named "Skinny". Skinny says hateful things about Ever like "Hopeless. Freak. Elephant. Pitiful. No one is going to love you." With the help of her best friend, Rat(Theodore Simon) and her stepsister Briella, she has the surgery.
At first it's very hard for Ever to not eat what she loves to eat but she makes it through. Rat makes up this chart to see how much Ever looses during her exercises- choreography, walking, running, dancing. Overall she loses 117 pounds!
The purpose of this book was to speak to everyone who has ever felt invisible or unlovable. This book teaches a lesson about taking risks. Ever was a role model in so many ways- she took the surgery and kept going. I recommend this book because it has a purpose to it.

Number the Stars
The book Number the Stars was written by Lois Lowry. This book won a Newberry honor award and very much so deserves it. Now to the book. The setting takes place in Copehagen, Denmark where a little girl Annmarie must smuggle her friend Ellen Rosen to Switzerland for safty from the Nazis. The time occurs right as hitler was at his peak taking all small countries. Characters who take palce on this story The Johansens: Mr. Johannsen Mrs. Johannsen Kristen Johansen the baby of the family, Annmarie Johansen the courages 12 year old. Now the Rosens: Mr./Mrs. Rosen and there kid Ellen. Another courages 12 year old who fights for her victory. The plot of the story is the Nazis get a list of all the Jewish people in Copehagen and the Rosens are on that list. Mr./Mrs. Rosen flee and leave Ellen with the Johansens. Then Mrs. Johansen takes Ellen and Annmarie to the coast where Mrs. Johansens brother lives with a fishing boat and hope to sneak the Rosens acrost to Switzerland. Finally they get acrost to Switzerland safely. Annmarie and the Johansens go back to Copehagen and live out the douration of the war. My evaluation of this is two thumbs up! It really reched out and touched me with heartwarming parts and thriller parts. This book taught me how the resistance fought against the German forces with intriging facts. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a thriller.

Stargirl
The title of this book is Stargirl .It was written by Jerry Spinelli .It was about a girl, who before this was homeschooled .Now she is trying to make friends at mica high school.
It is mainly at Mica High school .It is a modern day setting ,in a normal town .But Stargirl lives at the outside of town.
There is Stargirl, Leo, Kevin, and Hillari .Stargirl is different .She is the opposite of everyone else in Mica High School. She is always in a good mood. She cheers for everyone.
Leo is a filmmaker. He has a crush on Stargirl. He was interested in her since she arrived at school.
Kevin was Leo’s best friend .He wanted to be the host of a talk show when he gets older. He and Leo work together on a talk show called “Hot Seat”. Kevin was interested in her because he wanted her to be on “Hot Seat.”Hillari is captain of the cheer leading squad. She hates everything about Stargirl. She wanted her to leave Mica High. She was a bully to stargirl, even though she did nothing to Hillari.
Stargirl is different from all the kids at Mica High. She cares about everything. She has only one friend, Leo. After going to school for a while, the kids started to ignore her and Leo. So Leo helped her change, she changed that and her name it became Susan. When that didn’t work she changed back.
The kids at Mica High school still hated her. She decided to leave the school without telling Leo. He never saw her again. Leo wanted to look for her, but couldn’t, still he believed she would come back.
I think this book was well written. You can learn many lessons from this book. Like you can’t judge a book by It’s cover, her is always a silver lining, and no two people are the same, But you don’t have to like the same things to be friends, sometimes your differences that bring you together. I would highly recommend this book to others.

No Such Thing As Dragons
My report is on a book named No Such Thing as Dragons written by Philip Reeve.
The story is about a Dragon hunter and his squire that went into the Drachenberg Mountains in search of a dragon “worm”. The setting is a small mountain village called Nochen.
Johannes Brock is a dragon slayer, and Ansel is a ten old mute who lost his words after his mother died when he was seven years old, who helps Brock keep his swords and armor clean and ready for battle. Else is a village girl who was tied to tree by the villagers as a sacrifice for the dragon. The Friar came with them because the church doesn’t believe in dragons and the friar was there to prove that there were no such things as dragons.
They travel from village to village offering protection and get money and a place to stay and food to eat to fight dragons that don’t exist. They went up into the mountain village thinking all the stories of the people and animals that were missing was a myth, but the dragon was real and they found the dragon’s lair which was full of animal and human bones. There was also gold, jewelry and shiny things and they found Brock’s sword there. The friar tried to use Else as bait but was eaten instead by the dragon. Ansel set a trap and walked out onto the thin ice and the dragon and Ansel fell off the cliff. Brock and Else found Ansel alive and they tied up the dragon and went into town with the dragon tied to a sled. They took it to the cathedral and the carpenters made a cage for the dragon. The people came to see the dragon and threw fruit and chunks of meat to the dragon. They didn’t kill the dragon because they had sent a message to the landgrave that the dragon was captured and was in the village for him to see and prove that there was such a beast. Ansel went to see the dragon and his eyes were open and he broke out of his cage and ropes and ravaged the village by setting fires, smashing houses and eating people. The dragon flew back up into the mountain. The landgrave came into town the next morning to find three streets in town burned to the ground and no sign of the dragon “worm” they brought off the mountain.
The landgrave looked at the pictures of the beast and determined it to be a big bird and that Brock had made fools of everybody. Nothing was ever seen of the Drachenberg Worm ever again and the feathers and drawings were kept and showed to a philosopher who decided the whole thing was a hoax.
Ansel decided he wasn’t welcome in town anymore as he couldn’t find Brock anywhere so he left and found Else and her mother who had a tinker wagon and under the blanket was Brock. They were headed to the lowlands and asked Ansel to go with them. Brock was thinking about being a Vampyr Slayer in Carpathia where the pheasants live in terror of fictional Vamprs, who drink blood and don’t like sun light and turn into ashes. He thought that would be an easier story to tell to people. Ansel watched as they left and he remembered he could talk after yelling at the dragon the night before and he yelled at his friends to wait for him.
The moral of the story is that things aren’t always as they seem. The author’s purpose was for Ansel to believe in Dragons and himself.
I recommend this book because it is a fun fictional story to read.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
By: Mark Twain
What adventures they wander in to? I really doing know when this book was made it doesn’t say. And takes place in the west. The characters are Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn, and Aunt Polly. The two young kids go mess around and, come across some adventures that if they tell anybody they will get in a lot of trouble. So they try to find and get the answers for what happens. They end up telling the Aunt Polly and get in some trouble (not much).
They got it figured out how people were scamming the town and killed one of the people that Tom knew. They then told Aunt Polly what had happened and everything turned out all right. The Author tried to do a lesson on how you should mind your own business and stay away from bad people. I would recommend this book to lots of people. Because I know some people out there that would really enjoy this wonderful book.

Book Report #1
The name of my book I am doing a report on is Hatchet. Hatchet was written by Gray Paulsen. It is about a 13 year old boy who goes on an airplane ride to go visit his father. On the way to visit his dad, the pilot has a heart attack and dies. He takes over the plane and crashes it into a lake in the Canadian woods. He has to learn to live on his own.
It takes place in New York, where he leaves his mom to visit his dad in Canada. When he crashes the plane he ends up deep in the Canadian woods. Lost, and with nothing to survive on, except a hatchet.
Now we have the Characters. The main Character is a 13 year old boy named Brian Robeson. Brian has a mom and a dad. The mom and the dad are split apart because the mom cheated on the dad. And there was the pilot.
Now we get into some detail. Like I said in the first paragraph Brian is stranded in the Canadian woods with nothing. And is also injured from the plane wreck. After he has been stranded there for a little bit he becomes hungry, so he finds some strange berries to eat, which make him extremely sick. He then finds a raspberry patch (Which makes him feel better). Brian makes a shelter, and in the middle of the night he hears a noise. He finds out that it is a porcupine. It shoots its quills into Brian's leg, causing him severe pain. Brian tries to build a fire with no matches and eventually succeeds when he learns how to strike his hatchet against a stone to ignite sparks. That night he is so desperate that he has to eat turtle eggs. Weeks, and weeks, and weeks go on. Finally, a plane flies over him he is thinking, I could be rescued. Unfortunately the plane doesn’t see him. Hopeless and devastated he tries to commit suicide with his hatchet but it doesn’t work. Then he decides to become a new person. He then catches his first fish and has his first feast. But sadly things get worse, that night a skunk comes into his shelter and sprays him. Then after that a moose attacks him, breaking his ribs. But that’s not all. The day later a tornado comes and wipes out his shelter. The day after the storm Brian looks at the river and sees that the tip of the plane I up. He realizes that he can go to the survival kit in the plane. So that’s just what he does. Brian goes down into the water and tries to grab the survival kit. He gets it but on the way down he found the dissolved head of the pilot’s. In the survival kit he find’s food and more. About a week after he finds the survival kit he was found by another pilot.
The conclusion of the story. Brian was rescued, and has lost a lot of his weight. He now stayed skinny for a long time. His parents were so happy to see him and that is the end of the book.
Resolution on the book. The author’s purpose of the book is to show people not quit on yourself. Keep going, and keep striving. The book teaches a life lesson, “Don’t Give Up”. Brian is a role model to me, because he shows courage, and responsibility. I Give this Book a 5 thumbs up, and I do recommend it to everyone, every age. The End

Book Report #1
Holes
By: Louis Sachar

Holes is a fantastic book about a kid named Stanley Yelnates, who is under a so-called curse created by his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather. Stanley has been in a rough situation ever since he was committed for a crime of stealing a famous basketball player’s shoes, which he is innocent for. Stanley is just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Now he is sent to Camp Green Lake. Let’s take a look at the beginning where it all started with this stunning story of what Stanley went through and where he is now.
The setting is at Camp Green Lake facility where boys are sent to build character by digging holes out in the dessert. This happened in Texas during the hot summer. Stanley must adapt to life out in the dessert and get used to the people here.
Stanley Yelnates is the main character in this book. His nick-name was Caveman. There are also characters at Camp Green Lake named Mr. Sir, Mr. Pendanski, and the Warden. The teenagers there have nick-names such as Squid, X-Ray, Magnet, Armpit, Zigzag, and Stanley’s best friend, Zero.
The plot in the book is the warden who wants kids to come to Camp Green Lake to dig holes, looking for treasure. That’s all the warden wants…..treasure. Camp Green Lake was a huge lake with buried treasure in the lake. Now the lake is dried out. Stanley is a prisoner at Camp Green Lake, digging holes all day. Stanley’s friend, Zero, had ran away for being insulted. The next day later, the boys pulled a scheme. They stole Mr. Sir’s sunflower seeds. Mr. Sir came back looking for them, so the boys hid them. Mr. Sir then filled up the boy’s canteens in an angry mood. Then he saw the sunflower seeds. Stanley jumped into the truck and drove it into a hole. Mr. Sir got angry even more. Stanley jumped out and ran away to the mountains. Stanley started to look for Zero. Stanley found Zero lying under a boat. Thus, they started an adventure of surviving in the mountains. The plot is basically the warden wanting treasure, and Stanley and Zero finding a discovery. Here is the exciting part of the story.
Stanley and Zero return back with a plan to dig up the treasure at night, without anyone noticing them. Stanley found the treasure case. They both started to pull it out. Once they got it out, the Warden, Mr. Sir, and Mr. Pendanski showed up. All of the sudden, Yellow-Spotted lizards crawled on Zero and Stanley. If they moved, they would have been bitten and possibly dead. They laid there until morning and, at last, the lizards jumped off to stay out of the sun. They took the case back to the camp. Zero had found that the saying on it said “Stanley Yelnates.” The Warden said it was hers, but it was not. Stanley’s lawyer came to pick up Stanley and Zero. Before they left, the sheriffs came to arrest the Warden, Mr. Sir, and Mr. Pendanski. It had also rained for the first time in centuries! The boys were happy for rain to finally come. Later, Stanley and Zero returned home. Stanley’s Family opened the case and found money, gold, letters, ect. The curse of the Yelnates was broken. Zero had found his mom and was re- united. The next day later, the Yelnates had a party along with Zero and his mom. Everyone was happy!
On evaluation of this book, it kept my attention because it had many exciting things happening throughout the whole story. The author’s purpose of the story was to teach how to work together, being bad doesn’t solve problems, and you will be caught at the end. I think it is a lesson. It is recommended to read this book because it grabs your attention.

Wolven
Author: Di Toft

The book Wolven is written by Di Toft. This book is mostly about a boy who gets an old dog and one night finds out that it's a shape shifter called a Wolven and it turns from a wolf to a boy. The wolven and the boy end up being chased by the government.
This all takes place in a little town called Temple Gurney in the 21st century. It takes place here cause the boy and his family had to move with his grandma cause his father is in the army.
Now I'll tell you the main characters. The boy is Nat, the Wolven is Woody, his mom's name is Jude and his grandma's name is Apple. There's also a mean person named Teddy.
O.K. so, when Nat discovers that Woody is a Wolven, Teddy who is from the government hunts Woody down and Nat tries to protect Woody. Then later Jude finds out that Woody is a wolven and also tries to protect him.
Finally Nat saves Woody by getting rid of the government by setting a trap and it works and Woody was saved. Then Woody, Nat, Jude, and Apple were very happy.
I would say that this book teaches people one thing for sure. This is that when you love something always protect it and don't let it go. I also think it teaches people to be honest and trust your family and friends. I would recommend this book to everyone.

The Kind of Friends we used to be
The book that my book report is about is The Kind of Friends we used to be. The author is Frances O’roark Dowel. The book is about these two girls that have been friends since elementary school, but now they are in 7th grade Junior High and their friendship is falling apart.
The setting is from when school starts in September to right before Christmas in December. They are either at school or at Marilyn’s, Kate’s, Rhetta’s, or Flannery’s houses. Or sometimes they are at church.
The main characters are Kate and Marilyn. The cheerleaders are Marilyn, Ashley, Mazie, and Ruby. Benjamin is the boy that is the Student Council President and Marilyn has a crush on him. Matthew is the boy that Kate meets in her Creative Writing class and she has a crush on him. Petey is Marilyn’s little brother that helps her with some of her problems. Flannery is the girl that Kate borrows the guitar from so she can learn how to play it. Reverend Mayes and Mrs. Mayes are Rhetta’s parents and they invite Marilyn and her family to their church.
All the cheerleaders except for Marilyn are mean, but Marilyn hangs out with them anyways, just because they are all cheerleaders. Kate is trying to learn how to play the guitar and is borrowing Flannery’s guitar to do it. With all the cliques and schedules and after school activities, Kate and Marilyn don’t have time to spend with each other anymore. Their friendship is falling apart. Marilyn’s parents are divorced and Marilyn has to deal with them fighting, so she has to help out more with her little brother Petey. Also Marilyn keeps getting bullied by the other cheerleaders, but a new girl named Rhetta comes to school and becomes friends with Marilyn. Kate joins a Creative Writing class to help with the lyrics to her songs. She meets Matthew in her class and they start to have crushes on each other, but they say they are just friends so then Kate isn’t sure if Matthew likes Kate or not. Marilyn joins the Student Council, but needs help with her campaign posters. Marilyn meets Benjamin-the Student Council President and they go to a dance together. Marilyn needs a place to stay for the night of the dance, but she can’t stay at Kate’s so she stays at Rhetta’s and has a blast, then she goes to church with them the next day and has even more fun.
Kate helps Marilyn make posters for her campaign and Marilyn is elected into the Student Council. So through all the drama and problems Kate and Marilyn are able to bring back the same friendship they had before but with a few more secrets to tell each other!
I think the author’s purpose was to show people that you can always save a friendship and to not let other people get in the way of you being yourself. The book teaches you to always be yourself, to not judge people by the way they look, and if the friendship is worth saving try your hardest to save it. The characters are role models because they can be themselves around anyone. I would recommend this book because it teaches you many lessons and it is just a great book in my opinion!

I Am Number Four, The Rise of Nine by Pittacus Lore

This book is mainly about 5 people who have supernatural powers on earth and trying to stay alive from people called the Mogadorians.

The time this happened would be 2012. Where it happened is all over the U.S., Europe, and Mexico. Also in the Himalayas.

The characters are Four (John), who is probably the most important because he is one of the strongest Loriens. Six always accompanies Four when they travel earth. Five, Bernie Kosar was their dog that could change into anything. Sekren Ra was the leader of the Mogadorians and he destroyed the planet Lorien and killed all the Loriens besides Four, Five, Six, Seven, Nine, and Ten. Eight dies during the book. Sam, Sarah, Eight, Nine Seven, and Five are just some of the non important people.

This is the 3rd book in the series so a lot has already happened. So it left off with Four and Nine trying to find Sam and Sarah because the Mogadorians took them and locked them up. This happened in the U.S. In Europe Six, Five, Seven, and Ten are trying to find another one of them selves. It led them to the Himalayas where they found him. His name was Eight. They spent a few days up there. When they went inside the one of the mountains to teleport to Mexico because that’s where there ships are so they can go back to their home planet, Lorien. But once they got in the mountain Mogadorians blew up the mountain. Six fought them off until Eight was ready to teleport. When they teleported Six somehow landed somewhere else in Mexico then everybody else. Six almost died but the secret FBI facility she ran into saved her. Turns out they didn’t because they worked with the Mogadorians. Five, Seven, Eight, and Ten landed in Mexico. Earlier Four and Nine found a tablet that showed where everybody else is and when they saw that they where in Mexico they went straight to it. They met up with Five, Seven, Eight, and Ten. They went to go find Six.

They found Sekren Ra and he beat up Six so in the end she can’t fight and nor can eight because Ra killed him. So everybody fought him but they were losing so they found Six, Sam, and Sarah and left. Now they will train and be ready next time.

The moral is to never give up and try your hardest to reach your goal. The authors purpose is to entertain in a fictional kind. It is recommended because it is one of the best fictional books ever.

Mr. Klutz Is Nuts!
The title of the book is Mr. Klutz Is Nut. The author is of my book is Dan Gutman. The book is about how Mr. Klutz goes nuts. The principal says he going to do something for the kids to achieve a goal and when they achieve the goal he has a crazy idea the whole schools agrees on. Everything happens in school but on different days and times.
The major people are A.J., Emily, Ryan, Andrea, Michael, Miss Daisy and Mr. Klutz. First I’m going to talk about A. J. He hates school but when he grows up he wants to be a professional hockey player. He is also the main character in the story. Emily is the one that everyone calls the cry baby. Ryan is the one that hates math but does it anyway. He is the one who says he will be A.J.’s new best friend. He is also the one who put the tack on Miss Daisy chair. Andrea is very smart; A.J. gets made at her all the time for being so smart. Michael is the other good friend of A.J. He is the other one boy that went with Michael and A.J. to put the tack on Miss Daisy’s chair. Miss Daisy is the crazy/ cool teacher. Mr. Klutz is the principal and he is nuts.
A.J. was sent to the office and Mr. Klutz gives him a candy bar. A.J. went and told all the other students. Then A.J., Michael, and Ryan all go in at lunch when Miss Daisy's was not in the class room and put a tack on her chair because they want to get sent to the principal’s office to get a candy bar too. When they all come in she sits down but nothing happens. Then Andrea raises her hand and tells Miss Daisy that there was a tack in her butt. She ask who did this. Ryan said he did so she sent him to the office. Then Michael and A.J. say they did it to but nothing happens. When Ryan comes back into the room he told A.J. and Michael that his parents are getting called and he didn’t get a candy bar. Later that day Mr. Klutz comes in the room to talk to the class. He said that some students need a little extra incentive to behave and work their hardest and he explains what that all means. So then Miss Daisy explains what they can do and Andrea says “How about a chocolate party?”Everybody says “yeah!’’. After that they all have to think of a thing to earn the chocolate party. A.J. says what about doing million math problems. They agreed but Ryan hated math but says he will do extra math if you kissed a pig on the lips. Mr. Klutz says okay, as an added incentive. All the kids were doing math problems like crazy! They got all the math problems done they got there chocolate party. One day Miss Daisy was gone so Mr. Klutz had to be there sub. Mr. Klutz tough them what physics was. He made another goal, to achieve the goal they had to write an essay about what it means to have elections and every kid had to write their own essay. If everyone finished their essays by Election Day Mr. Klutz would climb the flag pole and recite the Pledge of Allegiance. He said he would also send all of the essays to the president. Everyone finish the essay on time and he climbed the flag pole in a red, white, and blue Uncle Sam costume. When he was sliding down his foot got caught in the rope that holds the flag. He was hanging upside down until Miss Daisy comes up with a great idea. Her idea got him down from the flag pole. The teachers caught him and loosed the rope. Mr. Klutz has another idea it was to write wrote one hundred thousand spelling words by Thanksgiving. If they did he would pogo sick down Main Street in a turkey costume. The students start thinking that Mr. Klutz is going nuts but they finish the one hundred thousand spelling words. He pogos down Main Street in a turkey costume. Then he has another idea it was the if the students read to their parents for one million minutes before school gets out for Christmas break, he will bungee-jump off the roof of the school dressed in a Santa Claus costume. All of the students though he was going crazy so they all went to his office and told him that they would never read to their parents again if he was going to jump off the roof. He agreed not to jump off the roof. But they all still read to their parents one million minutes and all of the students would get to Water World. They all read to their parents like crazy. They all read to their parents a million minutes altogether. They got to go to Water World. They all had an amazing time but Mr. Klutz was still crazy. The students said they were going to have to help cure him over the summer.
The final problems are solved by Mr. Klutz not doing crazy things to get the students to do well. Everything works out okay in the end. The main characters think Mr. Klutz is nuts.
The author’s purpose is that you should always do good things. It teaches you that you don’t always get a present for doing something good. The characters are kind of but something are bad\ good.

Book Report; a Summer to Die
Thirteen-year-old Meg tells the story of the summer of her fifteen-year-old sister’s death. One night Molly wakes up covered with blood, Meg calls their parents, and Molly goes to the hospital where she stays for weeks, undergoing tests. It takes Meg a long time to let herself realize how bad it is, even after the magnitude of the illness is visible on Molly’s ravaged body.
Much of the medical detail in the hospital scenes makes clear how advanced the disease is, but Meg masks her growing fear with disgust, projecting her fear onto doctors she decides must be using Molly for experiments and exaggerating the seriousness of her condition. Unable to open herself to an empathy that would require both an unusual act of imagination and courage to face grief, Meg focuses on the bizarre visible effects of Molly’s illness and on her own altered daily life. Her oddly "selfish" perspective, understood as a self-protective strategy, makes complete sense.
During the slow progress of Molly’s leukemia, Meg develops friendships with an old man and a young couple expecting a baby. Both of them help normalize her world, provide her with "reality checks" and give her a quality of attention that is needed that her parents can’t manage at the time. After the baby is born, Meg gains a new perspective on the precarious miracle of life and finds the courage to go to the hospital to see Molly, now in the final stages of the disease. Meg and her parents are emotionally reunited in their loss, and in the final chapter Meg reflects on the healing stage that doesn’t cover over loss, but allows life to be good again in different terms.
This book is dramatic, exciting, and also seems to be quite a tragedy in the end. I strongly recommend this book to anybody who is interested in ‘deep’ books. Meg and Molly are both in their teenage years and have two complete different personalities. The author of this book is Lois Lowry. I think the book deserves 5 stars and it is also my favorite book!

Eon: Dragoneye Reborn

The name of my book is Eon: Dragoneye Reborn. The author of the book is by Allison Goodman. In this book, Eon trains for years to be an apprentice for the year of the Rat Dragon, but he accidently becomes Lord over the Mirror Dragon. Later on, everyone would know of his dangerous secret he has been hiding for many years.
The time period is around 800 B.C. in Eastern Asia. They are preparing for the new year of the Rat Dragon. Twelve different boys that would turn 12 by the New Year would be training to become the next year’s apprentice of the next dragon. They have been training in swordfight and in Dragon Magic. All competitors needed training in both to be eligible to be apprentice of the Rat Dragon.
The main character is Eona. Eona has been training years as a girl with Lord Brannon to use Dragon magic to become Eon, a 12 year old boy that has been training to be an apprentice because dragon magic is illegal to women. Eon has been training with his master, Lord Brannon, both in swordfight and in Dragon Magic. Both Eon and his friend, Danny, compete to be the apprentice of the Rat Dragon.
When Eon becomes Mirror Dragon’s dragoneye, he must adapt to the routines of other Lords. When Lord Ido figures out that Eon is a girl and that he can’t communicate with the Mirror dragon, but he can communicate with his dragon, he threatens to tell everyone. Eon starts to panic as the monsoon season comes and they have to use magic to stop it. Later on, Lord Ido starts to kill of other Lords, including his own apprentice, Danny.
Eon learns that by becoming Eona, he can see his own dragon. He even learns that the Mirror Dragon is a girl. The only way to get magic from the dragon is to become Eona. So he renounces Eon and he becomes Eona.
The overall book was great. The lesson from this book is not to be someone you’re not. I would not consider any characters as role models.

Rebel in Right
There was a kid named Danny Redd. Danny Redd is a very good baseball player. Danny was placed at the minor league organization in Rapid City. The coach at the time was I guy named Rip Radjecki. He played one game and then he got benched for the rest of the year.
After about 2 years in the minors and then he went to the majors. Danny went into the majors and they put him as the starter for the Boston Red Sox. He was an amazing batter but he was very bad at defense. They had a three man rotation in right field. Danny wasn’t the starter because he would not but his body on the line. So there was a guy named Pete Gibbs that made friends with him and talked to him.
After about 50 games they sent him back down to the minors. He was really good there so they brought him back to the majors. When he returned his old coach Rip Radjecki was defensive for them. Danny had a few problems in his first game back but there was a ball hit and he nailed the wall and ended up catching the ball. He ended up with a broken collarbone, but they gave him the starting job.
